A Dhaka court has granted bail to Mahmuda Akhter Mita, chairman of Tazreen Fashions Limited where over a 100 workers were roasted alive in 2012.
Dhaka District and Sessions Judge Md Abdul Mojid granted the bail on a bond after hearing of the lone manslaughter case on Thursday.
Mahmuda Akhter was granted permanent bail on a Tk20,000 bond, defence lawyer Mohammad Golam Gaus told the Dhaka Tribune.
On April 3, Tazreen Chairman Mahmuda Akhter was sent to jail after surrender to court after a higher court scrapped her February 20 bail.
