ICC boss visits Cox’s Bazar stadium

International Cricket Council President Alan Isaac has visited the newly constructed Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday.

He arrived in the district by air around 12pm. Then he along with his delegation went to the stadium.

During visit, the ICC president expressed his satisfaction over the arrangement of the ICC T-20 World Cup by Bangladesh.

He said the seaside stadium will be very suitable to hold the international cricket matches.

More matches will be announced soon to be played in the stadium, he also said.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hossain Papon MP said application will be placed within next one year to ICC for holding test matches at the stadium.

West Indies Cricket Board CEO Cameron, BCB Vice Presidents Mahbub Anam and Lokman Hakim accompanied him during the visit.
