Samia Zaman’s latest film Akash Koto Dure has been selected at the ninth International Oriental Film Festival of Geneva. The festival featuring 100 films across the globe will take place from April 4-13.
The story and screenplay of the film has been written by lyricist Zufiqer Russell. Produced by Impress Telefilm Ltd, the film features Rajjak, Sharmila Ahmed, Mostafa Prokash, Lux Channel i superstar Fariya Hossain, Misha Showdagar, Ankon and child artists from Tokai Natyodol.
Akash Koto Dure is about an orphan name
Bichchhu. Till the age of ten, the boy resided in an orphanage.
Although the orphanage is an institution for care, Bichchhu was unfortunately tortured in the house. He can not resist anymore and makes an attempt to change his life by running away to Dhaka. Left to his own devises without any money, Bichchhu meets two other orphans Bullet and Jasim. He gets involved with a gang where children are involved in criminal activity.
