Renowned Bangladeshi band Obscure has signed up with ME Label to digitally distribute their albums. All the albums of Obscure will be available on international outlets including iTunes, Amazonmp3, GooglePlay, Rhapsody, Emusic and other popular platforms. Furthermore, the songs will be monetized on free streaming sites including Spotify, YouTube and Mushroom Entertainment’s own platform ME Radio, where the users can listen to the songs for free, while the artist still collects the ad revenue.
The band is going on its 29th year of existence and 8 albums till date with many hits songs including Majhrate Chad, Nijhum Rater Adhare and Chhaira Gelam Matir Prithibi. With their current line- up including Tipu, Rajib, Binod, Raajue, Rabbi, they recently released their newest album Fera with local company G Series, and international distribution by ME Label.
ME Label has been working with record labels and artists to ensure that due online royalty is received from sales and streaming sites via a transparent and automated online accounting system.
