New drama serial Dhonni Meye featuring Intekhab Dinar and Zinat Sanu Swagata in the lead roles will begin airing on Channel 9 today at 8:30pm.
The serial is scheduled to air every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on Channel 9 at 8:30pm. Written and directed by renowned maker Matia Banu Shuku, the cast of the drama serial also includes Samia Purba, Abul Hayat, Doli Juhur, Dipanwita Halder and many others.
The story of the drama revolves around a middle class family led by a retired government employee Anowar. The story rolls on with the struggles of Anwar’s children mostly his daughters.
His second daughter, Manisha, most adorable of all, gets into a relationship with Pallab, hailing from a rich family. Through many struggles, Pallab finally manages to wed Manisha with consent of both the families. Subsequently, Manisha’s in-laws put impediments to her studies but she continues pursuing it with the support of her husband. And so the story of Manisha, the Dhonni Meye, marches forward in spite of obstacles.
