Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is holding a meeting with the officials of Home Ministry on Thursday morning.
The PM had reached at the ministry around 10:30am in the morning.
She is holding the meeting with the officials to accelerate the activities of the ministry, said PRO Sharif Mahmud Apu.
Home Secretary CQK Mostaque Ahmed is also present in the meeting.
According to rules of business, the prime minister is taking the charge of the ministry.
