Director General of Directorate of Public Library, Nur Hossain Talukder, has been made the new DG of the Directorate of Family Planning while Joint Secretary of the Power Division, Mohammad Shafiqullah, has been made new Executive Director of Power Greed Company of Bangladesh (PGCB).
Earlier, Director General of the Directorate of Family Planning, Ganesh Chandra Sarker, and the Executive Director of Power Greed Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) Zinnatul Haque had been removed from their offices.
The public administration ministry on Sunday made the reshuffle in these offices including 22 more additional secretaries and joint secretaries.
Earlier, Director Ganesh Sarker was made the DG of the Directorate of Family Planning on February 26. He was not posted further after his removal from the office.
Meanwhile, Executive Director of PGCB Zinnatul Haque was made officer on special duty after his removal. He was sent to the public administration ministry as an OSD additional secretary.
Among the additional secretaries, Quamrun Nahar Khanam of Water Resources Ministry was made DG of the National Museum and Director of the Directorate of Military Land-Properties Miah Abdullah Mamun was made DG of Department of Jute.
Meanwhile, Additional Secretary to the Public Administration Ministry Sohrab Hossain and OSD Additional Secretary AS Mahmud were posted to Education Ministry and OSD Additional Secretary Begum Porag was posted to Ministry of Industries as Additional Secretary.
Among the joint secretaries, Director of the National Savings Directorate (NSD) Mahmuda Aktar Meena was made DG of the same directorate; Shah Md Aminul Haque of ERD was made project director of Board of Investment’s head office construction project and Director of BCS Admin Academy Mostafizur Rahman was made Director of the Directorate of Military Land-Properties.
Among the OSD joint secretaries, Mohammad Mosaddek Ali was made Director of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission; OSD Kajal Islam made Secretary of SPARSO, Gazi Mohammad Zulhas made Deputy Managing Director of Expatriate Welfare Bank and Mohsina Yasmin was made Director of BCS Admin Academy.
Deputy Managing Director of Expatriate Welfare Bank Monjurur Rahman was transferred to Cultural Affairs Ministry, Public Administration Ministry’s Joint Secretary Bishwanath Banik was transferred to ERD, Military Land-Property Officer of Directorate of Military Lands and Cantonment SM Imdadul Haque transferred to Home Ministry, additional divisional commissioner of Sylhet Nur Ur Rahman transferred to Shipping Ministry and additional divisional commissioner of Shamsul Alam Chowdhury was transferred to Youth and Sports Ministry as joint secretary.
Home Ministry’s Joint Secretary Iftekharul Islam Khan and Public Administration Ministry’s Joint Secretary Rafiqul Alam were made OSD.
Meanwhile, OSD Joint Secretary Anowarul Islam Sarker was posted to Public Administration Ministry, Siddiqui Zobayer was posted to Power Division, Monirul Islam was posted to ERD and Nasrin Ara Surat Amin was posted to Social Welfare Ministry.
