Famous Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar came to Dhaka on Sunday at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Mirpur during the much anticipated match between India and Pakistan.
The winner of the latest Filmfare award as best actor, it was Farhan’s first trip to Bangladesh and he twitted on Sunday morning: “Off to Dhaka this morning... never been before... curious to experience the city.”
The producers of Farhan’s upcoming film Shadi Ke Side Effects chose the venue for promoting the film since the whole media of the subcontinent were supposed to be eyeing the match. And yes, the star successfully grabbed the attention of the jam-packed viewers and media.
