Ruling Awami League won the chairman position in all the three upazilas in Kushtia district under the second phase of the upazila poll held on Thursday.
In Mirpur upazila, Awami League-backed candidate Kamarul Arefin won with 88,944 votes, Returning Officer Azad Jahan said.
In Kumarkhali upazila, Awami League-sponsored Abdul Mannan Khan emerged victorious with 82,034 votes, Returning Officer Saleha Akhter said.
In Khoksha upazila, Awami League’s Alhaz Sadar Uddin Khan won with 40,451 votes, Returning Officer Abu Hena Mohammad Mostafa Kamal said.
