Rumi of Bangladesh Ansar lifted the women’s singles title of the South East Bank 34th National Table Tennis Championship at the Rajshahi Divisional Sports Complex yesterday.
Rumi beat Rahima of Comilla 4-1 to emerge as the champion.
Earlier in the semi-finals, Rumi ousted Akhi of Comilla by 4-2 games while Rahima overpowered Saleha of Ansar by 4-0 games.
Ripon and Sharmin of Bagerhat lifted the title of the mixed doubles beating Munna and Sinthy 3-1 in the final held in the morning session.
State minister for foreign affairs Shahriar Alam distributed the prizes as the chief guest.
