Jibondhuli goes to Khulna and Jessore

After opening for the Dhaka audience on Friday, ace filmmaker Tanvir Mokammel’s latest feature film Jibondhuli is going to be released in Jessore and Khulna.

The Jessore audience will be able to enjoy the Liberation War based film from February 20 to 22 at the Shilpakala Academy Auditorim and at the auditorium of Jessore University of Science and Technology on February 22.

On the other hand, the film will be screened for the Khulna audience at the Moyuri Digital Cinecomplex in Shankha Cinema Hall from February 21 to 27.

 The film revolves around Jibonkrishna Das, a poor Hindu lower-caste drummer, whose wife and children were killed by Pakistani armed forces. It depicts how he struggles to survive against the brutality of the Pakistani occupation forces and local collaborators. Shatabdi Wadud, Wahida Mallik Joly, JyotikaJyoti, Ramendu Majumder and Paresh Bhuiya played the lead roles in the movie.
