Ayub Bachchu will release his five new songs on Grameenphone today. The five songs are: Allahay Ke Kokhon Jay Chole, Kichhu Muhurto, Kemon Achho Nagorik Shokal, Joler Ki Dosh and Bashi Khabar.
Lyricist Niaz Ahmed and Rabiul Islam have written four songs of the album and another one was written by Ayub Bachchu. He has also composed all the songs in the album.
This is the first time Ayub Bachchu is releasing his songs on the digital media.
Regarding the digital release, Bachchu said: “Nowadays piracy has become a curse for the music industry. In this time and age, it makes sense to release an album or songs digitally rather than producing CD’s. We all need to be aware about it and awareness only among the musicians and industry people will not work. The audience should take their step forward to stop it.”
“Listeners have to dial a specific Grameenphone number and then they can listen to my new songs. After couple of months, I will think about releasing the songs on CD’s,” he added.
Bachchu also said: “The songs are very melodious and rhythmic. Anyone can feel these songs. The lyrics are really moving and full of emotions. I have sung all these from the deep of my heart. Overall, the songs are excellent and the audience will hopefully find these notes in my new songs.”
LRB’s last album was Juddho. Ayub Bachchu’s solo album titled Bolini Kokhono was released five years back.
