The Wi-Fi zone at the Teacher-Student Centre of Dhaka University has been strengthened as State Minister for post, telecommunication and telecom ministry Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the new Wi-Fi zone yesterday.
The Wi-Fi zone would cover the TSC and a radius of 450 metre around it, DU Information and Technology Society (DUITS) President Abdullah Al Imran told the state news agency BSS, adding that the zone would primarily provide connection of 50mbps speed.
