Health and Family Welfare Minister Moahmmad Nasim has said stern action would be taken against the health officials if negligence found in providing service to the people.
He came up with the statement while paying a sudden visit to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital on Saturday afternoon.
The minister said from now on he will make such visit on regular occasion to different health institutes to check things of his own, reports BSS.
“The government wants to ensure best medical facility possible with its limited resources for the people in need. It would not let anyone go unpunished for their laxity in duty,” Nasim said.
The minister asked the authority concerned to evict the illegal shops that were raised on the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital premises over the years.
