A moderate earthquake jolted parts of northern Bangladesh on Friday evening, according to the Met office.
However, no casualty was reported till filing of the report.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 155 km north of Dhaka’s earthquake observatory.
Meteorologist AKM Ruhul Kuddus of Dhaka Met Office told the Dhaka Tribune that mild tremors were felt in northern parts of the country though the earthquake measured 4.1 on the Richter scale.
