American Standard International School in Baridhara hosted a Western Classical Music Night on Saturday at its campus.
The performers included a trio of local and international artists—Lena Olausson on flute, Saad Chowdhury on piano and Towfiq Murshed Khan on cello.
Lena Olausson is a celebrated artiste from Kungälv, Sweden. Saad Chowdhury is a British-Bangladeshi pianist and musician based in Dhaka. Towfiq is a student of American Standard International School who has done diploma in music from the Malaysian Institute of Art.
The show was attended by First Secretary and Consul Mohd Noordin Lomondot and his wife along with other diplomats from the Philippine Embassy, Korean Embassy and Russian Embassy, among others.
