The government has appointed retired ambassador Mohammad Ziauddin as an ambassador-at-large with the rank and status of a state minister.
The Cabinet Division issued an order regarding the appointment on Monday afternoon.
He will enjoy all facilities of a state minister during his office.
Ziauddin served in different important positions at home and abroad during his long career.
