Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation looks forward to pick new talents in women’s kabaddi with the Marcel LED Television Inter District Women’s Kabbadi billed to start at seven venues across the country from Tuesday.
In the venues of Faridpur, Nilphamari, Barisal, Kushtia, Jamalpur, Rajshahi and Narail, a total of 29 districts will vie for the zonal championship, who will earn the final round ticket. Comilla and Habiganj the lone representatives of Chittagong and Sylhet Divisions and reigning champions Dhaka will play directly in the final round. The district round will be completed on February 26 but the date of the final round is yet to be decided.
Nazrul Islam, the general secretary of the kabaddi federation said he hoped they would be find new talents in the meet at a presser yesterday. The additional director of RB Group A.F.M.Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn, brand ambassador Marcel actor Amin Khan, Marcel head of marketing Mosharraf Hossain Razib were also present on the occasion. The representatives of the sponsors welcomed the federation’s idea of hosting the beach kabaddi at Cox’s Bazar in the future.
