Noted writer and educationist Professor Dr Mohammad Zafar Iqbal has been hospitalised at Osmani Medical College Hospital in Sylhet on Sunday morning due to fever.
Dr Tanmay Biswas, deputy director of the hospital, told the Dhaka Tribune: “Zafar Iqbal, Head of Electronic Department of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), was admitted to the hospital at 9am as he has been suffering from fever. He is also facing liver problems.”
Professor Enayet Hossain and Nazmul Islam of the hospital are taking care of Iqbal.
