The High Court has received the copy of the ten-truck arms haul cases verdict which ordered the hanging of fourteen individuals including Jamaat chief Motiur Rahman Nizami and ex-state minister for home Lutfozzaman Babar.
The section of the court concerned received the copy 12pm.
Supreme Court Registrar AKM Shamsul Islam confirmed with the Dhaka Tribune about the verdict copy reaching the court.
Earlier, the Chittagong court sent the copy of the verdict for the High Court's confirmation, on Wednesday.
On January 31, a Chittagong special court sentenced 14, including two former ministers -- Motiur Rahman Nizami and Lutfozzaman Babar -- of the then BNP-led four-party alliance government, to death in arms smuggling case of the 10-truck arms haul.
