In response to reports in the Indian media regarding changes in the visa regime for foreigners visiting India, the spokesperson of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka has clarified that there is no change in current visa procedures as far as Bangladesh is concerned.
The current online system for all visa applications continues, the high commission said in a press release on Thursday.
The spokesperson added that any changes to the existing system will be formally announced as and when they are made.
Bangladeshi citizens wishing to travel to India are advised to continue to follow current procedures, which are available on www.hcidhaka.gov.in.
