Some 23 leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal have been sued for their alleged connection in the killing of a Shibir leader in Bogra.
Abdullah Al Baki, Islami Chhatra Shibir president of Azizul Hoque College’s Titumir Hall branch and schoolteacher, was stabbed to death on January 21.
Baki’s father Yakub Ali filed a case with sadar police station against 23 leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal on Sunday night.
Bogra sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Abu Hayder Md Foyzul Rahman said: “The case was filed mentioning the names of 14 people.”
