Two people were killed when three trucks turned turtle due to heavy fog in Baraigram upazila, Natore on Wednesday morning, police said.
The dead were identified as driver Selim Reza, 35, son of Mozammel Hoque from Chapainawabganj, and his helper Nazrul, 25.
The three vehicles were heading for Natore from Dhaka when they rammed into each other and turned turtle near bridge no-8 in Aatgram Bazar area.
The third truck, laden with sand, fell off the bridge, Banpara Highway Police Outpost Sergeant Nikunja said quoting his Officer-in-Charge Masud Pervez.
The accident took place due to heavy fog, he said. Police were engaged in rescue works at the time of filing this report.
