At least five people have been killed and 15 others injured when a bus took a plunge into a roadside ditch in Mymensingh's Shimulia, on Thursday afternoon.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Tarakanda police station Officer-in-charge Moqbul Hossain Molla said: “The passenger bus collided with a truck and plunged into a ditch. The incident ocurred sometime near 12pm and killed four on the spot and injured 15 others.”
He said one of the survivors succumbed to his injuries when he was being rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
