China welcomes new govt

China formally congratulated the newly elected government in Bangladesh on Monday. The Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh, Li Jun  handed  the felicitation letter   to Foreign secretary MD.  Shahidul Haque at the minsitry today. Chinese Prime minister Li Keqiang wrote the letter to Bangladesh Prime minister Sheikh Hasina. Sheikh Mohammad Belal, director general of East Asia wing of the foreign ministry confirmed the development.
