China hoped for a political stability in Bangladesh through talks and negotiations after the parliamentary elections, Xinhua news reported on Thursday.
“We noted that Bangladesh's parliamentary polls had been completed on January 5,” China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said in a press conference.
“As a friendly neighbout of Bangladesh, China is concerned about the country's national situation.”
China hoped that political parties can prioritise national long-term and fundametal interests, and hold talks and consultation in efforts for political and social stability.
