A 'fire' broke out at Dhaka's Hajrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday morning, however, the source of the flames could not be located.
Thick smoke was seen at the first floor of Terminal-2 around 4:10am, Fire Service and Civil Defence Officer Mohammad Ali said.
Two fire fighting units rushed to the spot, however could not locate the source of the smoke after efforts, he said.
An official sought the condition of anonymity to tell the Dhaka Tribune that the smoke compelled authorities to switch off the main power lines before resuming.
