Two police members sustained burns when unidentified miscreants hurled petrol bombs at a polling centre in Baniachang upazila in Habiganj on Sunday morning.
Police constable Hanif and Ansar member Abdullah were admitted to Habiganj Sadar Hospital.
Sources said their faces were burned when miscreants hurled petrol bombs at a polling centre in Shotifkhani Government Primary School around 6:30am.
Meanwhile, Rapid Action Battalion personnel went to the spot and were trying to arrest the culprits involved with the incident.
Baniachang Polling Officer Shafiullah Shafi confirmed that the Ansar and police members sustained burns in a petrol bomb attack at the polling centre.
