An army man was killed in a train crash in the capital’s Banani on Wednesday night.
The victim was identified as Abdul Mannan, 32, hailed from Saturia of Manikganj district.
He was killed when a running train hit him around 11:00pm at Sainik Club area of Banani on Wednesday, Sub-inspector Azizul Islam of Kamalapur General Railway Police (GRP) said.
Later, the army men took the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy on Thursday morning.
