Jatiya Party will unveil its election manifesto at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital on Thursday morning.
Abul Hasan Ahmed Jewel, joint office secretary of JP, told the Dhaka Tribune on Wednesday.
The party is the fourth one that will announce its election pledges at 10am just two days before of the forthcoming parliamentary polls billed for January 5.
The ruling Awami League announced its manifesto on Saturday while its allies Workers Party of Bangladesh and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) unveiled its manifestos on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively for the 10th parliamentary polls.
The polls will be held in 147 constituencies as 153 candidates out of 300 have already been elected uncontested.
However, Bobby Hajjaj, special adviser to Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad, has claimed in video message from UK on Wednesday that there has been no change in Ershad’s stance to boycott the January 5 polls election.
Earlier on December 3, Ershad announced that his party will boycott the election as there was no proper atmosphere for the polls.
He asked his party men to withdraw their nomination papers submitted for the January 5 polls.
Later, the law enforcers detained Ershad from his Gulshan residence and took him to the Combined Military Hospital, Dhaka for treatment. Since December 12, the JP leader has been confined in the CMH.
