Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Police emerged as the champions in the men’s and women’s events respectively in the Victory Day Wrestling Championship yesterday.
BGB claimed seven golds and one silver to become champions for the 15th time while Bangladesh Police finished second with six silvers.
Police earned four golds and silvers each in the women’s event to clinch the first spot. This is the first time Police have won the Victory Day Wrestling.
Bangladesh Armature Wrestling Federation vice president Iqbal Bin Anwar distributed prizes to the winners as chief guest.
