The Victory Day Roller Skating Marathon organised by Search Skating Club and Rapid PR, promoting the slogan of ‘Enlightened youths will develop the country’, was held on Monday.
The 35km marathon, participated by 100 selected male and female skaters, began from the Central Shaheed Minar and finished at the National Mausoleum in Savar. The skaters and the organisers later placed floral respect in the memory of the martyred freedom fighters. A roll-ball match was also organised to mark the occasion.
