At least three people, including a child, were killed while four others were injured when a truck turned turtle on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway in Chunoti, Lohagara upazila in Chittagong, Friday evening.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Sources said a truck carrying wheat turned turtle when one of its tyres got punctured along the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway sometime around 4pm.
Lohagara police station Officer-in-charge Shahjahan confirmed the accident to the Dhaka Tribune.
