The full verdict of Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Abdul Quader Molla was sent to the International Crimes Tribunal on Sunday.
The documents were handed over to tribunal Registrar AKM Nasiruddin at his office.
This is the first full verdict of the International Crimes Tribunal which was set up to try war criminals after Awami League came to power in 2009.
Quader Molla was the first to have been sentenced to a “lighter” death verdict by this special tribunal in February 5.
Later, the International Crimes (Tribunals) Act, 1973 was changed in view of protests providing equal scope of appeal for prosecution and defence.
Later, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court revised the sentence of Quader Molla to death for his crimes against humanity during Liberation War of Bangladesh.
The full verdict of Quader Molla was published on November 5.
Quader Molla is now in Dhaka Central Jail and will be transferred to a condemned cell there after receiving court orders.
