Unidentified miscreants hurled four crude bombs on Information Minister Hasaul Haque Inu near his Darussalam residence on Monday, the third day of the ongoing countrywide blockade.

However, the minister remained unhurt.

Khalilur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Darussalam police station said: “Four crude bombs were hurled on the minister around 10:30pm when he was about to enter his house. But, the minister remained unhurt.”

Quoting the minister, the OC said: “The criminals fled the scene immediately after the bomb attack.”

The OC said police were trying to identify and arrest the attackers.
