Pickets chased a driver to his death in the port city of Chittagong Wednesday afternoon on the second day of the 48-hour blockade.
The deceased was preliminarily identified as Mohammad Ershad, 22.
The driver was killed when his tempo turned upside-down while being chased by pickets in Moizzartek area around 1:15pm, police said.
Patia circle police Additional Superintendent Shamim Hossain and Chittagong Medical College Hospital outpost Sub-Inspector Zahirul Islam endorsed the information.
This raises the death toll during the 48-hour opposition blockade to ten until Wednesday afternoon.
