Bangladesh Army emerged as the champions of Intex Federation Cup Rugby beating J-Sports Rugby Academy by 38-10 points in the final held at the Paltan ground yesterday.
In the road to the final, Bangladesh Army beat Victoria Sporting Club 28-0 while J-Sports overpowered Dhaka Wanderers 21-17. Obaidul of Army was adjudged as the best player of the tournament.
Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, the general secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation, distributed the prizes as the chief guest. Engineer Md. Mohiuddin Sikder, the chairman of the Intex Buiolders was the special guest on the occasion.
