Customs Intelligence personnel detained a passenger with foreign currency worth Tk1.5m from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport early on Saturday evening.
The detainee was identified as Humayun Kabir.
Airport sources said the detainee, who was flying to Kuala Lumpur, was detained after being found to be in possession of Saudi Riyal worth Tk1.5m.
