An international flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Chittagong's Shah Amanat International Airport on Saturday.
At 9:45am, a bird hit an engine of the Air Arabia flight which was carrying 161 passengers.
Manager of the airport, Baktayer Ali, confirmed the information. “The flight was forced to make an emergency landing within ten minutes of take off,” he said.
An engine was said to have sustained minor damage due to the incident.
The flight was rescheduled to Sunday at 4am.
All passengers were provided with hotels.
