A group of Awami League activists allegedly killed a local Chhatra Dal man and hurt seven persons after making an attack on them yesterday at Sonaimuri in Noakhali.
The deceased Pervez, 19, hailed from Amishapara union, was an SSC candidate from a local Madrasa.
Witnesses said Awami League activists Homyan, Sumon, Shawan, Fayz made the attack on Parvez and shot at him when he was returning to his home from madrasa.
Raju, 19, and Rashed, 20, including five others fellow activists of BNP, were also chopped indiscriminately.
