The Meteorological department has issued local cautionary signal No. three in the maritime ports and signal one for the inland riverports due to adverse weather and rough river condition on Saturday.
Light rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazaar Rajshahi, Rangpur, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh and Sylhet, said a Met office bulletin.
According to the Met office website, the cautionary signal will be affective till 6pm on Saturday evening.
