12,855 Hajj pilgrims reach Saudi Arabia

A total of 12,855 Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh reached Saudi Arabia in the first 3 days of Hajj travel, according to the Hajj bulletin. They arrived on 32 flights by 10am on Monday.

This year, 78,500 people from Bangladesh have been allowed to perform Hajj. Of them, 660 agencies are responsible for managing Hajj under the private arrangement, including 30 lead agencies and 630 coordinating agencies.

According to airline-wise data, 4,974 pilgrims arrived on 12 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 4,667 on 12 flights of Saudi Airlines and 3,224 on 8 flights of Flynas Airlines.

Subject to moon sighting, the holy Hajj will be held in Saudi Arabia on May 26.
