Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman visited Dhaka Shishu Hospital in Shyamoli at around 11am on Saturday to see children affected by measles.
During the visit, he asked about the treatment of the children and spoke with doctors on duty about their latest physical condition.
He urged the doctors to ensure proper and necessary treatment for the measles-affected children.
He also visited a petrol pump near Asad Gate in the capital and inquired about the latest status of fuel oil.
Shafiqur Rahman was accompanied by Dhaka-12 lawmaker and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive committee member Md Saiful Alam, central executive committee member Mobarak Hossain, Dhaka Metropolitan North Ameer Md Selim Uddin, central executive committee member and Dhaka Metropolitan North Secretary Dr Rezaul Karim, central working committee and publicity and media department member Jahidur Rahman, and Dhaka Metropolitan North publicity secretary Ataur Rahman Sarkar.
