In a special programme this Eid, Nithor Mahbub has come up with a mime show for the entertainment of the children. The programme is titled “Ronge Ronge Eid” and is directed by Abdur Sattar.
The show’s shooting was done in an amusement park for the children situated in Shamoly called Shishu Mela and will telecast on ATN Bangla during Eid. According to the artist Nithor Mahbub, he is pleased to be able to deliver this show for the children of the country.
“The story is unique and it was a delight to be a part of something that provides entertainment for children. I will consider myself lucky if the show amuses the children,” adds Nithor.
The story is about a boy who goes to play in a flower garden and comes across a dragonfly and tries to capture it. But the insect evades his every attempt and after many tries, he finally catches the dragonfly and in haze of anger, rips off both its wings. As a result to his cruelty, the insect is unable to fly again.
The naïve boy then tries to reattach the wings with his saliva, but fails to make the insect fly again. He realizes his mistake too late and buries the insect in the garden and returns home in despair.
