Bradley vs Marquez in HBO classic fight

In the next event of HBO PPV boxing Timothy Bradley will take on Juan Manuel Marquez on October 12, 2013 on Saturday at 9:00 PM ET/PT at Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. This is a very good matchup between a great old fighter (Marquez) and a better-than-good but probably-not-great fighter who is neither old nor young. The fight title is set for Bradley vs Marquez which is powered by HBO PPV. Boxing fans will be able to watch the fight live on air at 9:00pm ET and live streaming can be done here WATCH LIVE ONLINE.

In boxing, a single fight can make history. In boxing, a single punch can define a fighter’s career. Timothy Bradley’s controversial decision over Pacquiao in June 2012 changed his future, not all to the better. Later the same year, the stunning sixth round knockout victory of Pacquiao by Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico left the entire boxing world trying to catch its breath.

Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KOs), the 40-year-old Mexican star, already has established a Hall of Fame résumé, regardless of the outcome of Saturday's fight. However, a victory would go a long way toward enhancing it. Marquez has already won world titles in four weight classes: featherweight, junior lightweight, lightweight and junior welterweight. His motivation against Bradley (30-0, 12 KOs), of Palm Springs, Calif., is to win his welterweight belt and become the first Mexican fighter to own a world title in five different weight divisions.

The win was sweet vindication for Marquez, who got his first victory in four fights against Pacquiao. Marquez is now a slight betting favorite over the unbeaten Bradley at MGM Resorts' sports book. Marquez weighed in Friday at 144.5 pounds, Bradley at 146.

Bradley and Provodnikov’s crowd pleasing contest came at a big price. Bradley sustained damage from so many blows to the head. After the fight, he said he thought he had a concussion. Doctors who examined him disagreed with each other. He now admits he doesn’t remember most of the fight after the first round.

But for this bout, both Marquez and Bradley were subjected during training to random blood and urine tests for performance-enhancing drugs, with the testing overseen by the Nevada commission. Marquez said last week he was "happy" to submit three blood screens and one urine sample and "prove I don't have a problem."
