The government has decided to appoint 1,619 candidates of the 32nd special batch of Bangladesh Civil Service in the administration. However, the appointments are exclusive of admin and police cadre positions.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued an order to this regard on Tuesday as per recommendations from Bangladesh Public Service Commission.
Candidates elected for appointment will have to submit their joining letter to the concerned ministry within October 30.
According to the order, 737 candidates will be appointed as lecturers , 109 candidates as agriculture extension officer and 7 as scientific officer, 15 as upazila fisheries officer, 540 as assistant surgeon and 65 as assistant dental surgeon, 16 as assistant radio engineer, 28 assistant engineer, eight as assistant engineer, 76 as assistant engineer and 7 as assistant engineer.
No candidates have been appointed as BCS admin and police cadre officials in this order.
