The “Hebbyjoss Concert” with four aspiring bands, Metaphor, Savagery, Oblique and Echoes, was held at The Break in Jamuna Future Park on October 1. The concert was a platform for the bands to team up together and mutually nurture the underground band scene.
Beginning with heavy metal numbers, the bands moved effortlessly by performing cover songs to songs from their debut albums. Elements of rock music were a prominent aspect of all the performances.
Metaphor played their song “Abakto,” along with five English covers. Next came Savagery with songs of Warfaze and tracks from their debut album “Prayoshichitto.” The next band to take on the stage was Oblique, who swayed the audience with songs of their album and English cover songs that stole the show.
Echoes started with the famous Dire Straits track “Sultan of Swing,” followed by a popular track of Pink Floyd.
The concert was the second among the series of concerts organised by Incursion Music that provides a platform for underground bands to interact with the audience and popularise this genre of music among the youth of the country.
