Which songs will you perform today?

Well, I want to start with remembering DL Ray. Just few days ago, it was his 150th birth anniversary. So, in his memory, I will perform one of his popular song, “Moloy Ashiya Kohiya Gechhe Kane Kane Priyotoma Tumi Ashibe.”

“Amar Apnar Cheye Apon Je Jon,” “Sur O Banir Mala Diye Tumi Amay Chuye Chile,” “Keno Phire Gele,” “Muruli Kande Randhe Randhe Bole” and some songs from modern and folk music is a must in my list. Following that, I will perform requests from my audience. Performing for an audience is all about passion for singing and entertaining music lovers.

I will end my music soirees by singing Lata Mangeshkar’s “Aj Tobe Atotuku Thak.”

Tell us about your new album.

This April, I released my latest album and was pleased that it was well received by my fans. Like always, I have tried to give my best in the album. The task is not too difficult for me, as I love singing. I am thinking of releasing my next album “Desher Gaan” very soon.
