Three people were killed and six others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Aricha Highway at Dhamrai upazila on Saturday night, according to a UNB report.
Police and witnesses said the accident took place near Bathuli bus stand around 7:30pm when a passenger bus hit a microbus coming from the opposite direction, leaving the three dead on the spot.
The deceased could not be identified.
The injured were first admitted to a local clinic and then shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as their conditions deteriorated.
