India vows to strengthen ties with Bangladesh

India vowed to maintain its healthy relationship with neighbouring Bangladesh on Friday, reports UNB.   In a friendly exchange of sweets and gifts on the holy festival of Eid on the Indo-Bangladesh border in Siliguri, the soldiers of both the countries vowed to maintain their healthy relationship and lauded each other’s cooperation and commitment.   The sweets were exchanged between soldiers of India’ Border security force (BSF) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).   Lieutenant colonel Abdul Basir, Border Guard Bangladesh, 18BGB, Panchaghar said that it was a very happy occasion and he really enjoyed the interaction.
